Save Job

Annapurna Labs is the team behind the custom silicon and systems at the heart of AWS (Amazon Web Services) infrastructure — we operate like a start-up with the scale of the world's largest cloud provider.

Key job responsibilities

Per K2 Generation, own tasks that are cross cards SKUs. This includes:

  • Drive shared technologies (Ethernet, PCIe, DRAM) integration plan. Work w partner Org in AWS (eg NPD, AIS, HW-Eng) on per generation plan with milestones. This while getting definitions from K2 owner, and Ethernet, PCIe and DRAM owners.

  • Own Readiness to new Chip bring up: Labs plan, Dev systems needs & deliveries plan management, manage priorities across activities in AP and at the ECO systems (peer teams) outside AP.

Own K2 critical and multi-discipline Task Forces

  • Critical Debugs: of issues that are cross products and cross development and Mass Production (such as: bugs escapees, defects, low yield, etc.). In all these cases the customer impact is significant, and the K2 HW TPM is the single owner to drive engineering for results, after analyzing customer needs and impacts.

  • Cross Verticals Deliveries: These can be planning deliveries of new manufacturing flow (from pilot, learnings, and General Availability/Mass Production). Another examples are: supply chain security new flow, new SoC bin integration cross cards, etc. This also includes owning of the Customer delivery\integration plan vs the Product ramp up (for critical programs)

About the team

Our Nitro Cards ("K2") are present in each server deployed at AWS, continuously innovating across new technologies, new server platforms, and new cloud services.

Nitro Cards serves critical roles in the server control plane and data path — delivering better performance, greater stability, and higher availability to customers at a global scale.

We work closely with the Nitro Silicon and Nitro Firmware and Software teams across definition, development, and mass production to optimize product value and accelerate time-to-market.

We learn from large-scale production health data and feed those insights back to continuously improve our products and processes.

Our success depends on world-class designs and the ability to deliver them on time, at scale, and with the best possible value for our customers — handling massive scale and the rapid integration of emerging technologies.
