Are you energized by building technology that makes life easier for business customers? Do you want to work at the center of enterprise commerce, connecting Amazon Business with the procurement, ERP, and finance systems that organizations run on? Would you thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, start-up-like environment? If you answered yes to any of these, the Amazon Business System Integrations team is the place for you.
We are building the systems integrations capabilities that let business customers buy on Amazon Business directly from the systems they already use. This includes APIs, protocols, and partner connections that make procurement faster, more automated, and more reliable at global scale. Our teams design, launch, and operate these integrations with a wide range of partners, and each launch has to work securely and seamlessly across many different systems, regions, and customer needs.
The Amazon Business System Integrations team shares a passion for innovation, a love of solving complex challenges, and a desire to make a meaningful difference for customers. We are looking for people who are comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy solving hard problems at scale, and do well in a start-up-like environment.
We need a versatile, curious, and motivated Technical Program Manager to drive complex, cross-functional programs from concept to launch. You will partner with software engineers, product managers, scientists, and external partners to define scope, align stakeholders, manage dependencies and risks, and deliver high-quality integrations on schedule. You will build the mechanisms that keep programs on track, such as clear roadmaps, metrics, and operational reviews, and you will communicate status and trade-offs clearly to senior leaders.
If you are passionate about pioneering new technology, bringing structure to ambiguous problems, and delivering results for customers, we want to talk to you.
Key job responsibilities
You will own delivery of integration programs that connect Amazon Business with customer and partner procurement and ERP systems. That means defining scope, goals, and success metrics, building the roadmap, and keeping engineering, product, and partner teams aligned from kickoff through launch.
You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and external partners to turn business needs into clear technical requirements. You'll understand the architecture well enough to question designs, flag risks, and help teams decide between approaches on APIs, security, and scalability.
You will manage dependencies, schedules, and risks across several teams. This includes running weekly status meetings and monthly business reviews, tracking open issues, and escalating blockers early with a clear recommendation.
You will define and track metrics such as partner onboarding time, adoption, error rates, and reliability, and use them to prioritize fixes. You'll also make sure each launch is operationally ready, with runbooks, monitoring, and support handoffs in place.
At the L6 level, you are expected to lead complex programs with little oversight, write clear program documents and updates for senior leaders, mentor other program managers, and improve team processes over time.
