DCCS Ltd GPwER

DCCS Ltd are developing and wish to expand the GPwER provision. As a result, we are looking for GPs who have completed a recognised postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology and have some previous practical experience in dermatology. We welcome applicants who are looking to further develop their extended role, and additional training and supervision can be provided for the right candidate.

You will need to be a GMC registered general practitioner, be available for a minimum of one or two clinical sessions per week, have strong communication and IT skills, and wish to help shape and deliver high-quality community care for patients being referred into the community dermatology service.

You will work alongside other GPwERs, a Dermatology consultant from NWAFT, specialist nurses and GPwERs in training. All of the clinics are in community settings.

The post holder will provide general Dermatology clinics, seeing new patients and follow-ups. There will be an opportunity to develop and learn a range of skills in Dermatology in a growing, busy service. A designated mentor, supervision and appropriate training will be available to support further development.

We are a friendly and mutually supportive team of clinicians with an outstanding reputation for service and quality.

Current locations where clinics are held are, Buckden Surgery, Little Paxton Surgery, The Moat House (Warboys) and St Marys (Ely). We are looking to extend this further within Cambridgeshire.
