CLAREMONT CLINIC
Caring for our local community since 1951
Salaried GP Post - 4 sessions over 2 days (Tuesday & Fridays)
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated GP to work at our friendly, supportive and diverse practice.
We are innovative with traditional roots. We are highly rated by our patients on both Google and the national patient survey.
See www.claremontclinic.co.uk and the overview below for more information about the practice.
The post-holder will provide general medical services, managing a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered patients.
You will work with the practice team to support the achievement of outcomes for Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF); Directed Enhanced Services (DES); Local Incentive Schemes (LIS) and Prescribing Incentive Schemes (PIS).
We are a paper-light practice and looking to further streamline processes.
Sessions involve a mixture of face-to-face and telephone appointments, there is a home visit rota and prescriptions duties are shared.
Claremont Clinic has been providing care to our community in Forest Gate and the surrounding areas since 1951. We have over 12400 registered patients and our premises have recently been fully refurbished.
We have a diverse, well-established and supportive team. We serve a community with varying health needs.
We are a popular practice, and are well rated on Google, recently achieving 4.4 stars and very positive feedback in the 2025 National GP Patient Survey. We endeavour to continue to grow and improve.
We are rated "Good" on our most recent CQC and we have a consistently high QoF achievement.
We are proud to have a strong educational ethos in the practice and are a training practice for three to five GP resident doctors in the Newham VTS, medical students in their final year from Queen Mary, University of London, and Pharmacy students from University College London.
We are located on the Romford Road with good transport links. Woodgrange Park and Wanstead Park Suffragette Line (Overground) and Forest Gate and Manor Park (Elizabeth Line) stations are all within walking distance (All Zone 3 London) and there are bus stops nearby.
