Join the team at Gateway Recovery Centre as a Consultant Psychiatrist providing care and treatment for men and women in specialist inpatient, rehabilitation and low secure settings. Gateway Recovery Centre is situated in Widnes, close to Liverpool, Manchester, Chester and surrounding areas. There are excellent transport links, which allows the town to be reachable for those travelling across the Northwest. Gateway Recovery Centre has 72 beds spread across 6 wards.3 wards constitute the womens service with one acute ward and two level 2 rehabilitation ward for women with high support needs. The other 3 wards provide care to men in specialist rehabilitation unit for men with ASD (Cedar ward), low secure ward (Dove ward) and a rehabilitation ward for older men with complex mental health needs and physical health comorbidities (Ash Ward). The team consists currently of 4.5 consultants, and you will deliver clinical care to a dedicated caseload.
