Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship owner and business generator for named State of Texas accounts.
- Drive new business opportunities, expand existing relationships, and manage the entire business cycle from needs assessment to successful implementation.
- Conduct in-depth consultations to understand customer issues, crafting and presenting tailored solutions, partnering agreements, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Leverage deep understanding of State Agency challenges and opportunities to build trust and credibility, positioning our company as a partner for infrastructure modernizations, cloud technologies and AI enabled security.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Technical and Industry Specialists, to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services, ultimately maximizing business generation and growth within assigned territory.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with quota-carrying enterprise technology/cloud sales selling into State of Texas departments and agencies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience selling Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software across public sector, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes.
- Experience growing existing customer base and acquiring new logos at scale, to increase spend and accelerate consumption business.
- Experience working with, and leading, cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and negotiations.
- Experience with commercial and legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
- Experience working with Customer Engineers and customers' technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases.
- Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.
