As a Market Activation and Growth Lead for GBOedu, you will drive the strategy and go-to-market execution to maximize adoption, engagement, and business impact of our learning solutions across Southeast Asia and South Asia (SEAS) and other APAC markets. You will sit at the intersection of Global Commercial Enablement and APAC Sales Enablement, you will partner closely with SEAS Senior Leadership, APAC GTM, and Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams to bridge global strategy with high-impact local execution.
You will co-create and activate upskilling initiatives that accelerate the "Seller and Manager Expert" shift, fostering a culture of high-performance and continuous learning. You will combine commercial acumen, sales coaching expertise and facilitation, coach sales managers and frontline teams on agreement execution and customer engagement. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating complex capability development goals into scalable, practical learning and coaching interventions that help our sales teams thrive in a competitive landscape.The Global Business Organization (GBO) is the engine that powers Google’s full ecosystem of products and services to help customers and partners succeed and grow. GBO includes the commercial arms of Ads sellers, business development teams, and customer services and support, as well as overlay programs that enable coordinated engagement with Google's most complex and important customers and partners.
Responsibilities
- Land and scale GBOedu’s global learning initiatives across SEAS, translating global frameworks into high-impact, locally resonant execution plans that accelerate seller and manager proficiency.
- Partner with SEAS leaders as a strategic advisor to identify systemic capability gaps and drive high-performance business transformation.
- Manage the Global-Regional-Local (GRL) operating model across SEAS, managing the 60/30/10 content design split and running a disciplined prioritization intake to align all custom interventions with strategic commercial outcomes.
- Operationalize the transition of certified Sales Coaching back to frontline sales managers to build scalable local capability, raising the coaching bar and reinforcing a culture of continuous learning.
- Drive seller adoption of adaptive, GenAI-powered learning tools into workflow rhythms, partnering with Sales Operations to deliver data-driven Return on Investment (ROI) narratives that connect capability building directly to behavioral shifts and pipeline growth.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experienceBusiness Strategy and Operations, Sales or Management Consulting roles.
- Experience in learning and development or coaching.
Preferred qualifications:
- Professional coaching certification with a proven track record of scaling coaching culture in a high-growth environment.
- 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
- Experience in creating and delivering high-quality GTM solutions or high-level strategic business planning.
- Proven experience driving a culture of coaching and practice (via references, testimonials, etc.)
- Demonstrated proficiency in building and operationalizing sales enablement programming at scale.
