Responsibilities
- Negotiate agreements with internal and external partners that support the growth of YouTube Music and YouTube Premium, including subscription distribution partnerships (e.g., integrated billing bundling agreements, etc.).
- Serve as the main day-to-day point of contact for a variety of top partners, troubleshooting issues and responding to time-sensitive inquiries.
- Oversee all aspects of partnership launches and navigate cross-functional complexity, work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams to quickly and effectively bring open issues to resolution and drive incremental growth for YouTube Music and Premium.
- Analyze data, understand partnership effectiveness, and seek ways to optimize growth. Influence the broader partnerships team with key learnings and strategies for future programs.
- Support departmental strategy and operations, including goal-setting, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, strategy playbooks, account planning, and presenting recommendations to executive leadership teams and various stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience working with subscription-based products and managing partnerships for Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD).
- Ability to travel 30% of the time domestically and internationally.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience reviewing business agreements and working with legal teams to redline and negotiate legal documents.
- Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams.
- Experience in maintaining an executive presence and delivering presentations to leadership both internally and externally.
- Knowledge of YouTube’s and Google’s products and the industries they operate within.
- Ability to look beyond the present and proactively identify future challenges and opportunities.
- Ability to structure, analyze, and solve business problems while delivering impact against business goals with excellent investigative skills.
