We are looking for an experienced Health Care Assistant to support the practice nurse in the delivery of primary care services, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice to the entitled patient population. The healthcare assistant will deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education. The applicant will need to be experienced conscientious, reliable, caring, and very motivated
Support the Clinicians with all aspects of Primary Care Healthcare, including phlebotomy, long term condition monitoring, NHS Health checks, ECG's, Blood pressure monitoring, dressings, hypertension monitoring, baseline observations and more.
The HCA will work closely with our practice nurse and wider clinical team to support delivery of health promotion programmes.
The successful candidates will be required to follow all infection control procedures, policies and protocols in accordance with the role and provide support to the infection control lead ensuring a safe working environment
We are a friendly, supportive and caring inner-city practice located in the Meadows area of Nottingham. 5-minute walk to the train station, 2-minute walk to the tram stop. We also score highly on the last 2 National GP patient Survey. and are proud of how well we meet our patients needs.
There are currently 2 GP partners, 2 salaried GP's, 1 Practice Nurse, 2 HCAs and a Phlebotomist. There is also a compliment of additional roles including 4 Social Prescribers, 2 Physiotherapists, a Clinical Pharmacist and a Health and Wellbeing Coach.
