Our dermatology service will be undergoing significant improvement. We are looking for a specialist grade who wants to continue this momentum -- colleagues who are energised by improvement, motivated by challenge, and excited to help shape a service that women and families can trust.
Main Clinical Duties include:
- Undertake outpatient dermatology skin procedures.
- Partake in the skin MDT as a core member.
- Undertake 1 session per month skin surgery in theatres.
- Provide support to the dermatology service and medical students by actively contributing to training and continuity of service.
- To have excellent team-working skills with the abilities and professional attitude to work well in a multi-professional team.
- The post holder will also contribute to service development. This may involve contributing to Ockenden recommendations, QIPs, audit projects, guideline updates or teaching and training. Including supporting the shift of elective activity out of a theatre environment and into an outpatient setting inline with GIRFT.
- To deliver clinical and quality targets agreed both nationally and locally with clinical teams and commissioners.
