Your Role
As Senior Graphic Designer, you will be the graphic backbone of our in-house creative studio. You will create, adapt, challenge and grow the Withings brand image, from product launches to brand guidelines, and imagine the visuals that bring our products to life around the world.
The studio is responsible for the graphic quality of every brand touchpoint, including product launches, communication and promotional campaigns, and high-impact projects for our markets in Europe, the United States and beyond, always to a premium standard. You will work alongside a motion designer and 3D artist and a graphic design apprentice to bring to life our premium universe, which we are reinventing for 2027.
We are looking for a true creative at heart: an experienced designer who loves and needs to imagine, experiment and make. This senior role includes a large share of hands-on production, as you will design and execute your own work from concept to final file. You bring new ideas, defend them and carry them through to execution, and you raise the brand's visual bar without waiting to be asked.
AI is already part of how the studio creates, with tools such as Krea, Nano Banana and Higgsfield, and its role keeps growing. You know how to use it to create more, faster, without compromising quality.
Your Missions:
Art direction and creation
- Imagine visual concepts and key visuals for product launches and campaigns.
- Design print and digital assets: packaging, retail and point of sale, social media, website, CRM emails, event booths such as CES, and presentations.
- Direct or support photo shoots and visual productions, from moodboards to selection and retouching.
- Own your projects end to end, from understanding the brief and setting creative directions to execution and final files.
Exploration and ideas
- Continuously explore new visual directions, formats and techniques, without waiting for a brief.
- Propose innovative ideas for the brand and carry them through to production.
- Challenge briefs from the marketing teams against their objectives before production begins.
Brand identity
- Help build and evolve the Withings brand guidelines toward a strong, premium and demanding universe worthy of our products.
- Ensure visual consistency across every touchpoint, including work delivered by our agencies and freelancers.
- Create and maintain organized, accessible templates and asset libraries.
AI and new tools
- Use generative AI tools for image and video, including Krea, Nano Banana and Higgsfield, to speed up research and production: exploring directions, generating visuals, adaptations and retouching.
- Build and share AI ways of working with the studio, including prompts, workflows, best practices and quality control.
- Keep an eye on new tools and test them for the studio.
Production and collaboration
- Adapt creations across formats and languages, down to the final production file, in line with the Brand Book.
- Collaborate closely with the motion designer and 3D artist, and share your practices with the graphic design apprentice.
- Brief and manage freelancers or vendors on selected projects.
- Work with the Head of Creative and with marketing, product and communications teams in France and internationally.
- Respect brand rules and health claims requirements in partnership with the legal and regulatory teams.
- Manage your own priorities and deadlines.
Requirements
About You:
You have at least 4 years of experience in art direction or graphic design, gained in an agency, an in-house studio or a brand.
Must have
- A real passion for creation: you need to imagine, experiment and make, and you want to stay at the heart of creative work rather than move toward project or budget management.
- A portfolio that shows your ability to bring a brand to life across many touchpoints with flawless execution, along with your creative explorations, including personal projects.
- Experience with premium or luxury brands in tech, beauty, lifestyle, design or health.
- A strong graphic culture, with solid layout and composition skills.
- Command of the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
- Advanced, regular use of generative AI tools (Krea, Nano Banana, Higgsfield or equivalent), demonstrated in your portfolio.
- Professional English, as our campaigns and teams are international.
Nice to have
- Motion design (After Effects), video editing or 3D skills.
- Experience in health or wellness.
- Comfort using Notion to stay organized.
