The Extended Workforce Investigations (xWI) team is a dedicated pillar of Google's broader Employee Relations organization, which sits within People Operations. Our team's mission is to uphold Google's values and ensure a work environment that is fair, productive, and compliant for our vast global extended workforce.

We are a forward-thinking group of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who operate with integrity and empathy. The xWI team manages complex investigations and grievance resolutions related to violations of Google’s Extended Workforce policies, the Google Code of Conduct, and the Google Supplier Code of Conduct.

In partnership with stakeholders across Extended Workforce Solutions(xWS), Employment Legal and other investigative teams, we strive to mitigate enterprise risk while supporting the fair treatment and compliance framework that guides our critical extended workforce. Joining our team means being there for our workforce in the moments that matter most and contributing directly to a better, more compliant Google.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
