Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain hardware (C9200, C9350, C9500-32C, PA5500), ensuring compliance and zero user downtime during migrations.
- Integrate new robotic cells into the network, maintain accurate labeling, and document processes, setups, and cell topologies for business continuity.
- Perform root-cause analysis and permanent resolution for complex network incidents, executing device upgrades with thorough pre- and post-checks.
- Build and implement automation scripts and tools using Python, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks.
- Monitor network performance and capacity to eliminate bottlenecks, minimize latency, and maximize throughput in high-availability environments.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in enterprise network engineering, design, and operations within an ISP or cloud/tech environment, working with vendors.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in L2/L3 testing protocols, TCP/IP, Spanning Tree Protocol, Network Address Translation (NAT), network administration, network architecture, network configuration, WAN acceleration, and project management.
- Ability to develop and implement network automation tools and scripts (such as using Python, Ansible, or Terraform) to streamline operational tasks, provisioning, and configuration management.
